Description: Patent Prosecution/Bioinformatics

Position: Associate

Notes: Firm is seeking an associate with 1-4 years of patent prosecution experience and an advanced degree in bioinformatics, or significant bioinformatics research or industry experience in addition to an advanced degree in biology or computer science. Experience in patents for drug discovery, whole-genome association, gene finding, gene or protein function prediction, protein interaction networks, or bioinformatics more generally, is required. This GP firm, now over 60 years old, consists of more than 200 attorneys in four offices including one in Paris and represents clients in technology, energy & renewables, life sciences & healthcare, investment management. The firm provides advice in business, disputes and intellectual property.
