Description: Patent Prosecution/Biology/PhD

Position: Associate

Notes: Firm is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of patent prosecution experience, preferably in connection with small molecule therapeutics and immunotherapies (vaccines, therapeutic nucleic acid and delivery mechanisms), and molecular diagnostics. An advanced degree in a biological science, with a Ph.D. strongly preferred. Firm with over 125 attorneys and two US offices who represent growth-oriented businesses, privately and publicly held companies, institutions and individuals primarily located in the northeast. Their clients are in various industries from traditional New England manufacturing and service businesses, high-tech and bio-tech companies, and emerging companies to entrepreneurs, Canadian and China-based companies.
