Position: Associate

Notes: Firm is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of experience for its Licensing, Strageic Partnering & Commercial Transactions group, which focuses on drafting and negotiating strategic licensing and commercial agreements on behalf of clients, providing general intellectual property and business counseling, and working on transactions. Will consider strong candidates with experience in corporate, patent litigation or prosecution who are looking to transition to a transactional licensing and commercial practice.

This CA based firm works with entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies and venture capitalists. Firm has over 100 lawyers in four offices - two west coast and two east coast. Firm's expertise includes general corporate and securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity fund formation, representation of venture capital and private equity investors, representation of investment bankers, intellectual property and strategic alliances, cross-border transactions, tax, executive compensation, and labor and employment.
