Description: Finance/Corporate Trust

Position: Associate

Notes: Firm is seeking an associate with 5-7 years of experience in transactional work for its Corporate Trust practice. Finance or securities/capital markets experience is preferred. The Corporate Trust group works closely with the capital markets and loan agency departments of major national banks and other financial institutions, representing them as trustees, administrative agents, escrow agents and collateral or security agents in a wide variety of corporate debt, project finance, municipal bond, secured and structured financing transactions and defaults.

This is a small firm with a collegial culture and a mutually supportive environment and a client oriented focus. Most everyone is working remotely until about July and it could remain so on a permanent basis if you are not within reasonable proximity to the office. The group is considered the firm's most sophisticated and also the most profitable. This group tends to regularly exceed the 1800 hourly yearly minimum. The biggest value proposition is that working in this group is the clearest path to partnership whtin the firm. They have so many institutional clients that there is no need to originate your own work. In this group, people get promoted.
