Description: Patent Associate/CS/EE

Position: Associate

Notes: Boutique IP firm in DC/N.VA area is looking to bring on an Associate w/3-4 years' or more experience - and a background in computer science or EE. Must have significant patent application drafting experience ideally coming from a large firm not necessarily in the DC/VA area. West coast or mid-west firm origin could be a fit. Position will be heavy on drafting and writing patent applications (must be able to turn out at least one application per week although the firm will mix the work (some prosecution as well) so as to avoid burnout. This is a new domestic origin client that the firm wants to satisfy. All work is new work for the firm - plentiful and ongoing. The firm already has a full docket of work and needs this heavy drafting skill set. Compensation matches DC area firms or more based on productivity � while most attorneys settle in at 1400-1500 hours yearly. Re-location package will be considered. This is a Partner track position.
